What's New

Recent changes to React TV.

October 11, 2026

Added
  • Creator Catalog is now organized into categories. Each category is a row you can scroll sideways, with View all to see everything in it. Searching by title still looks across the whole catalog.

  • The same category rows appear under Catalogs when you add content to a queue, stream, or block.

  • Content that comes from the Creator Catalog has a catalog badge that opens its catalog page in a new tab. Full series also show their season and episode counts.

October 10, 2026

Added
  • Ban viewers from your channel's chat. Use the Ban user button on their user card, or type /ban and /unban in chat. Banned viewers see why they can't send messages.

  • A new Moderation page in your channel dashboard lists everyone banned from chat, with an Unban button on each row.

  • Type @ in chat to pick from recent chatters and viewers who are watching.

  • Viewers can report a channel with the new Report button in the channel header.

  • Shuffle now mixes up the videos inside each queue, so it works on feeds with a single queue too. Turning it on or off never cuts the video that's playing.

  • Creator Catalog shows which episodes are region-restricted, with counts for each season and show.

Changed
  • Editing a feed that's on air no longer moves playback. Adding, removing, or reordering videos, attaching a queue, and changing the loop mode all keep the same video playing at the same spot. If you delete the video that's on air, the next one starts.

  • Active Feed Protection asks far less often. It now only checks with you before edits that change what's on air, like deleting or trimming the video that's playing or picking a different one.

  • Time Travel is now part of the "EPG" or "Program Guide". Drag the guide under the player to move through time, or click a show to jump to its start. It works in Broadcast Center too, where your feeds and queues are locked until you exit.

  • Loop, shuffle, and re-anchor now sit in the feed header in Broadcast Center.

  • Broadcast Center quick setup is shorter: name your feed, add content, and you're done. New channels start with one feed.

  • The welcome page after you sign in takes you straight to watching, creating a channel, or exploring the features.

  • Blocks now have a maximum length that depends on your plan. Blocks you already made that are longer keep working.

  • Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service were updated to cover reporting content and how your data is handled.

Fixed
  • Re-anchoring a feed no longer restarts the video that's playing. It keeps the exact spot, so viewers don't notice.

  • Changing the loop mode no longer jumps playback back to an earlier video.

  • Edits to a fallback feed that's covering your channel no longer skip ahead.

  • Chat timeouts now reliably stop a viewer from sending messages.

  • Unticking Hide ended in the schedule day view no longer stacks rows on top of each other.

October 3, 2026

Changed
  • Broadcast Center no longer uses separate "cameras" — your feeds are what you switch on broadcast, staging, and fallback. The CAMS tab is gone; open a feed from the Feeds list or the mixer to manage queues and playback.

September 30, 2026

Changed
  • Our Terms of Service now spell out what isn't allowed on any channel: adult content, gambling promotion, violence, and hate speech. Content like this gets removed. Marking your channel as mature covers things like strong language and mildly mature situations, not any of those.

September 26, 2026

Added
  • Put your channel logo on the video, just like a TV station. Pick the corner, size, and opacity from the new Logo button in Broadcast Center. It steps aside whenever viewers reach for the player controls.

  • Opening Broadcast Center for the first time now offers a quick setup that gets your feeds and queues ready to go, or you can skip it and set things up yourself.

Changed
  • Active Feed Protection is now a shield button in Broadcast Center. Turn it on and you'll be asked to confirm before any edit that changes what's on air.

  • Preview is now called Staging, and Live Seeking lives in the Broadcast player. Scrubbing in Staging never touches what viewers are watching.

  • Looping is now a menu with clear No loop, Loop, and Loop single options.

Fixed
  • Fallback cams now take over even when nothing is assigned to Broadcast, and your channel no longer goes offline after taking Staging to Broadcast.

September 2, 2026

Added
  • Three fallback ranks (FB1, FB2, FB3) cover your channel when Broadcast has nothing to play — assign a Cam to each slot and reorder the chain from the Cam control panel.

Changed
  • The Vision Mixer and lanes are fully retired. Broadcast Center now runs entirely on Cams, Feeds, and Queues.

  • Multiqueue and Queue are now one feed type. Any non-schedule feed can hold multiple playlists based on your plan; new channels start with Feed 1 and Feed 2 on Cams 2 and 3.

August 25, 2026

Added
  • Broadcast Center is rebuilt around Cams — assign feeds to Broadcast, Preview, and Fallback slots, stage in Preview, and take staging to broadcast when you are ready to go live.

  • Side-by-side Preview and Broadcast monitors show what you are staging versus what viewers see on your channel.

  • Feeds and Queues sidebar tabs let you manage content sources and browse channel queues without tying every edit to one cam.

Changed
  • Add content has a redesigned flow — clearer layout, a dedicated limits panel, and a mobile drawer so your queue stays accessible on small screens.

August 13, 2026

Added
  • Live chat on the Support page — open real-time chat from the Open live chat button.

  • Status labels in each Vision Mixer column header (Off, Scheduled, On air, Standby, or Idle) so you can see which lane is driving playback.

  • When a no-loop queue finishes its full playthrough, the lane shows Loop ended and the repeat icon turns red.

  • Worldwide Availability Only checkbox when scheduling content or adding to your library — skip region-restricted media so you only queue and save content available worldwide.

Fixed
  • Single-item loop lanes replay correctly instead of stopping after the first playthrough.

August 11, 2026

Added
  • Embed dashboard shows copy-paste iframe code with a live preview of your channel player.

Changed
  • Create channel is now two steps: enter a name, then choose a plan.

August 10, 2026

Changed
  • Lanes you choose during first-time broadcast setup default to activated.

August 9, 2026

Changed
  • Livestream lanes and queues are gone — there are now just two queue types (Queue and Schedule), and any Queue lane can be set to loop a single item to swap between live content instead.

August 8, 2026

Added
  • Recent team channels appear in channel search before you type.

  • Re-anchor control in looped lane column headers when playback has wrapped past its original anchor point. Use it to lock playback to the current item before adding content so that audience playback is uninterrupted.

  • Confirmation when selecting a different item on an active lane. The alert warns that playback will change for viewers, and you can enable Live Seek from the prompt or the preview bar to skip it on future changes.

Changed
  • The add-content lane picker disables lanes whose queue cannot fit the selected item and uses the same card layout as Add Lane.

Fixed
  • Jump to now playing in loop lane playlists only appears when the playing item scrolls out of view, and the list keeps the current item pinned at the top as playback advances.

  • Mute overlay visibility and stacking above the video embed.

  • Fixed delete message permissions for channel moderators.

  • Deleted chat messages are hidden from the chat history.

  • Chat is now limited to the lastest 50 messages.

August 7, 2026

Changed
  • Browser back navigates through add-content wizard steps on mobile instead of leaving the page.

August 6, 2026

Added
  • Queue Limits sidebar in add-content with item count and duration meters, upgrade prompts, and a Max Reached state on the add button.

August 5, 2026

Added
  • Plan limits for queue items, team seats, block hours, and stream duration now show a clear warning and an upgrade prompt when you hit them.

  • Force Playback preference in the channel player's gear menu keeps the channel playing by default; turn it off to allow pausing.

  • A status icon shows while content URL's are verified.

Changed
  • Adding a custom lane uses a simpler type-selection screen.

  • Channel and content search wait for 2 characters and a short pause before searching.

August 4, 2026

Added
  • Add more than one Schedule lane in the Vision Mixer to run separate programming grids on the same channel.

  • Schedule planned livestreams on the calendar with a start time and length.

August 2, 2026

Added
  • EPG categories show how many channels are listed in each category in the picker.

  • Library items show playback badges for worldwide availability, regional limits, embedding blocks, and age restrictions.

  • Cut and Fade stinger styles in the Vision Mixer. Cut jumps instantly to your chosen color; Fade crossfades to color. Both use the per-channel color picker in the stinger controls.

Changed
  • Category arrow keys skip empty categories while browsing the EPG. My Favorites and My Channels stay in the rotation when signed in.

  • Channel owners see an (expired) label on their category when the weekly listing window has passed and it is time to refresh.

August 1, 2026

Added
  • Vision Mixer lanes start with a ready-to-use queue. Add content without setting up a queue first.

  • When nothing is playing, the empty lane preview shows centered next-step actions.

Changed
  • Livestream lanes are custom lanes like your other mixer columns. During initial setup, choose a livestream lane the same way you add any other lane type.

  • Queue editing for single-queue lanes opens on the first lane editor page, with the attached queue and Add to Queue actions there.

  • Mobile navigation menu layout and transitions.

July 31, 2026

Changed
  • Content stream calendar has fewer layout shifts when switching days while schedule data loads.

  • Scheduling availability no longer shows misleading durations or validation errors while the calendar is still loading.

July 30, 2026

Changed
  • Stinger transitions when switching channels have less flicker before the next video starts.

  • Scheduling max duration and ASAP slot search work correctly across month boundaries.

July 29, 2026

Added
  • Channels play a short branded animation when switching videos, instead of a blank screen while the player loads.

  • Channel owners can choose a stinger style and color in the Vision Mixer header, or turn stingers off entirely for their channel.

July 28, 2026

Added
  • Clockwork filler breaks. In block item Options, choose how many times filler plays per clockwork period (1–4). Use 1 for filler only at the end of each period, or 2–4 for more breaks between videos.

  • Block item preview shows filler breaks in your schedule before you save.

July 27, 2026

Added
  • Lane scheduling in the Vision Mixer. Each column header has an alarm clock button to set start and optional end times, clear schedule metadata on user lanes, and save deferred activation or shutoff without using the lane toggle. While a lane is on air, the start time is read-only; you can still adjust or add an end time.

  • The alarm icon turns mint when a lane has a future start time and coral when an active lane has a scheduled shutoff.

  • Turning a lane on before its scheduled start, or off before its scheduled end, shows a confirmation because it replaces the scheduled time.

  • Reorder queue items with drag handles in Sort mode in the queue editor.

  • Hide Schedule, Fallback, and Livestream lanes from the Vision Mixer with the column footer minus button. System lanes stay non-deletable. Hidden lanes leave the mixer and skip playback until restored.

  • Restore hidden system lanes from Add Lane. Hidden system lanes appear in the Type radio group; selecting one restores it with its predefined name (Fallback, Schedule, or Livestream).

  • Welcome onboarding modal on the home page and under Help & Info, with Start Watching, What is React.tv, and Create Channel.

  • On your first broadcast page visit, choose which system lanes to include for new channels.

Changed
  • Vision Mixer "Help" opens from the header button only.

  • Support modal links across the site, including the channel EPG footer.

July 17, 2026

  • Active lane swaps respond faster.

July 15, 2026

  • Repeated queues from the prior data migration have been moved to the fallback lane on all affected channels.

Upcoming
  • Data migration to detach all but the first queue from each non-fallback, non-schedule lane. Each lane is limited to one queue for performance.

July 11, 2026

Changed
  • Scheduled content queues can no longer be set to repeat. Previously repeated scheduled queues were copied to new unscheduled queues that retain repeat behavior.

  • Repeat toggle removed from scheduled queue controls.

Added
  • Create content queues from the channel dashboard without opening the schedule calendar.

  • Channel Repeats control in the channel header for assigning non-scheduled queues to loop when no content is scheduled.
